Forensic Evaluations

Drs. Morson and Qalbani each provide forensic evaluations. Each is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Forensic Psychiatry. They are each members of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. Each completed his fellowship at Tulane in 2008 and 2009 respectively. They provide independent medical evaluations for civil and criminal matters. Both physicians have broad experience providing expert opinions through written reports, depositions, and court testimony. Issues evaluated include but are not limited to emotional damages related to accidents and injuries, fitness for duty evaluations, and disability evaluations. They also provide expert opinions regarding competency to stand trial and insanity defenses in criminal proceedings.

Drs. Morson and Qalbani each provide forensic evaluations for both plaintiffs and defendants in civil proceedings and prosecution and defense in criminal proceedings. Independent medical evaluations are conducted according to an hourly fee rate. There are no financial arrangements based on contingency.
